Key Tasks :
I. Fixed and Intangible Assets :
1.Keep the company's equipments and assets in good condition.
2.Follow the hygiene and safety rules of the store and local authorities.
3.Ensure the respective warehouses & sections are well kept and clean.
4.Ensure sufficient supply of consumer goods, accurate labelling of items and correct pricing.
II. Human Resources :
1.Motivate and empower staff and redress their requirements periodically.
2.Train the staff & prepare succession planning for potential candidates and high performers.
3.Schedule staff's working hours and delegate appropriate responsibilities and monitor their appearance (uniforms, badges, cleanliness and
4.Ensure that there are adequate and qualified staff to hand the quantity and quality of merchandises/promoters.
5.Report immediately to the superior or concerned Reporting Manager,of any incidents/irregularities
that could affect the operation of store.
III. Merchandise :
1.Ensure to have an appropriate & adequate assortment of items in terms of quantity,quality and price range.
2.Ensure that all shelves are properly arranged, filled, tidy regularly, cleaned and properly labelled.
3. Make sure that linear display reflects the sales figures.
4. Ensure that the best purchasing terms are obtained from supplier in terms of purchasing price, rebate and terms of payment.
5.Plan and negotiate promotions frequently in orer to get best deals.
6.Study and check the competitor's price level frequently and take the appropriate decision.
7.Control stock carefully and adjust accordingly by monitoring purchase order and sales.
8.Control the suppliers manpower who performs the role of merchandises/promoters.
IV. Money :
1.Utilize the section's available budget and prepare the monthly report.
2.Check the gross margin and monitor the shrinkage by inventory.
3.Verify and check all due to, suppliers payments before authorization.
4.Follow and make sure that all the rebates are paid.
* Job Complexity :
1.University Graduate preferably in Commerce/Business Management/Retail/Marketing Management with 5 years experience in Retail environment of a large store or wholesaler.
2.Computer literate ; dynamic and enthusiastic mature with a team spirit.
3.Knowledge of products and consumer items in his store.
4.A good understanding of the total supply chain.
5.Good negotiating, commercial and operational skills.
7. Maintain good communication with customer - both internal and external.
8.Be pleasant and available to customers.
9.Must be a good team player.
Saudi National with Retail experience are welcomed to apply for this job. Previous experience in Retail will be given preference.
